Silicone Wristband Fundraising for your Organization

silicone bandsEvery organization has a mission statement that reflects the core principles of the group. When Lance Armstrong returned to win the Tour de France, Livestrong Foundation produced wristbands that served both to raise awareness for cancer survivors as well as fundings for his non-profit. Awareness bracelets are an excellent fund raising tool that can help your organization grow and spread its central message.

Gel bracelets reflect your group by printing a message on the band, as well as allowing you to chose a color that reflects your theme. Popular wristbands include the yellow Livestrong band, red and blue for epilepsy awareness bracelet and the pink Susan Komen bracelet. Each of these silicone bands sends a message, and can help raise the public profile of your group. By printing your motto on a rubber bracelet, people will naturally ask your members about its significance, which raises your organization's profile.

In addition to general cause awareness, gel bands are an ideal way to help raise funds for those in immediate need. When Hurricane Katrina landed at New Orleans, groups began selling white and blue bands to show solidarity and raise funds for those displaced by the natural disaster. The bands provide an easy way for showing support for victims, and make clear economic sense for charities looking to raise funds.

The wristbands can be purchased in bulk at a low cost basis, and sold to raise funds for prices as little as $1 a piece. Low cost and popularity make silicone bands an ideal choice for school fund raisers, religious campaigns and medical causes. With a suggested donation price, individuals are free to donate more, while others can contribute the low purchase price. Just as Livestrong became a national cause started in cycling, your group can begin to sell custom bracelets for your local group and aim to raise awareness for your cause.

When you look at Fundraising Programs for your Organization, are these the key factors that affect your decisions?
• Expense
• Return on Investment
• Ease of Implementation
• Broad appeal/Usefulness to Donors
• Can it be repeated

Wouldn’t the ideal Fundraiser be one where you receive residual income from your efforts? Run the program one time and receive income every month?

How about offering your supporters a product that they can use every day-one that saves them money on their everyday purchases? What if you weren’t selling them anything-you were giving it away for FREE?

My Shopping Genie™ is a Web Application that rides on top
of Google and all of the major search engines and brings the user the best deals that can be found on the Internet for the item(s) they are searching for.

Here’s the best part. The Genie is completely brandable. You can put your organization name and logo on every Genie that you give away. Whenever someone uses your Genie, they will see your name and logo right there-on page one of every search engine!

You give the Genie away – FREE - When they use the Genie, you can receive Pay per Click and Pay per Lead commissions from the merchants that the Genie recommends to your customer!

Every Fundraising Program requires an initial investment, and the Genie is no different. The cost to become a Licensed Distributor with unlimited give-away rights is $199.00 plus a $29.00 monthly maintenance fee.

If your organization gave away 50 Genies every month for a year that would be a residual income of $13,500.00!
That’s an ROI of 2468%!!

Every active Genie that you give away generates $2-$4 per month for your organization! How many can your organization give away?

Find out how the Genie can be Your Ultimate Fundraiser! Download your FREE copy of the Genie and take it for a test drive.

Yes, wristbands are a really meaningful tool in opening awareness to people. And a lot of people now are fond of having personalized silicone wristbands. I think it's because they feel more involved not only in participating in the event but also in designing their own wristband.
